Roberts to be honored on retirement

The community will have a chance to thank Sen. and Mrs. Tommy Ed Roberts at a Sept. 23 event. Sen. Roberts, who is retiring from the State Senate, and his wife, Pat, will be honored at a reception from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
A dinner will follow at the Ministry Center at 6 p.m.
