Funeral for Edna Parrish Gryder, 81, of Danville, formerly of Pleasant Grove, was Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 9 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Turner officiating.
A graveside service followed at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Grove Cemetery in Pleasant Grove with Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Gryder died Sunday, Sept. 24, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Dec. 14, 1924, in Virginia to Willie C. Parrish and Mary Ethel Robertson Parrish. She was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church in Speake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Powell Gryder.
She is survived by a son, Felix Powell Gryder Jr. and wife Margaret of Madison; a daughter, Mary Faye Gryder of Danville; and two grandchildren, William Gryder and Michael Gryder, both of Madison.
