Funeral for Donnie Speegle, 49, of Falkville was Saturday, Sept. 30, at noon at Center Church in Lawrence Co. with the Rev. Roger Aldridge officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Center Cemetery.
Mr. Speegle died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, at Decatur General Oncology Center. He was born March 19, 1957, in Morgan County to Ervin C. Speegle and Mildred L. Speegle. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Gary and Rusty Speegle.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry L. Speegle of Falkville; three sons, Luke Speegle and wife Sarah, Joe Speegle and Daniel Speegle, all of Falkville; a daughter, Mary Speegle of Falkville; a step-son, Allen Maddox of Falkville; his mother, Mildred L. Speegle of Falkville; three brothers, Charles Speegle of Hartselle, Ronnie Speegle of Georgia and James Speegle of Cullman; three sisters, Brenda McAbee of Hartselle, Debbie Hays of Cullman and Judy Maddox of Falkville; a step-grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Josh Speegle, Dusty Maddox, Kevin McAbee, Jeff Hays, Shane Speegle, Jason Speegle, Scott Hays and Michael Speegle.
