Funeral for Shirley Francis Blackwood, 68, of Eva was Sunday, Oct. 1, at 2 p.m. at Daniels Chapel Church with the Revs. Truman Gable and David Estes officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Daniels Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Blackwood died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born June 17, 1938, in Lawrence County, Tenn. to Ewell Wade Estes and Myrtle Ramsey Estes. She was a member of Daniels Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Terry Francis and wife Sue of Schmidtmuehlen, Germarny, John Francis and wife Georganne of Eva and Rodney Francis and wife Gail of Priceville; a brother, Albert Dean Estes of Falkville; and six grandchildren.
