A memorial service for Regina Lenora Sparkman Turner, 69, of Decatur was Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Berry officiating. Mrs. Turner died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006, at her residence. She was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Morgan County to George Olan Sparkman and Mary Louise Jones Sparkman. She was a member of Seminole Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Fla.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Pollock and wife Donna of Decatur and Gary Alan Pollock of Tallahassee, Fla.; a brother, Brandon Sparkman of Jasper; two sisters, Frances Lorance and Hazel Moore, both of Decatur; four grandchildren, Steven Pollick of Decatur and Erik Pollock, Ashley Pollock and Amber Pollock, all of Naples, Fla.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley or any other hospice of your choice.
