Two arrested in undercover sting

A Union Grove man and Eva woman, as well as a female juvenile, are charged in connection with an undercover investigation by the Morgan County Drug Task Force.
Sheriff Greg Bartlett said task force agents made the arrests Oct. 5 after an agent met with Caleb Stanfield, 16, of 576 Irby Circle, Union Grove and the juvenile at a Morgan City convenience store. The undercover agent said Stanfield sold 50 Oxycotin pills for $600.
Agents arrested the juvenile, Stanfield and Brenda Gayle King, 41, of 412 Fort Bluff Road in Eva. Stanfield is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and is being held on $11,000 bond. King is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and is being held on $10,000 bond. The juvenile was released to her mother.
