Funeral for Daisy Corinne Payne, 93, of Falkville was Monday, Oct. 23, at 2 p.m. at Falkville First Baptist Church with the Rev. David Price and Shaun Kennedy officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Payne died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at Falkville Nursing Home. She was a librarian at Falkville Public Library. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. B. Payne; a son, Hal Ray Payne; a daughter, Elsie Jean Laney; and a grandson, Ronald Martin Laney.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Roger Doyle Laney and Debbie Payne Miller; six great-grandchildren, Melanie Laney Hunter, Whitney Laney Davis, Hannah Laney, Andrew Miller, Angela Miller and Amanda Miller; and four great-great-grandchildren.
