Funeral for Karen Lochielle Darnell, 39, of Decatur was Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Pitts officiating. Burial was in Sardis #2 cemetery in Winston County.
Mrs. Darnell died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Parkway Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Henderson and two brothers, Robert and Dalton Henderson.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Adams Darnell of Decatur; a stepson, Thor Brian Darnell of Decatur; a daughter, Brittney Lochielle Darnell of Decatur; a stepdaughter, Alexandria Grace Darnell of Decatur; her parents, Marvin and Thelma Henderson of Hartselle; three brothers, Marlin Daniel Henderson of Hartselle, Marvin Wade Henderson of Jones Chapel and Michael Andrew Henderson of Chelmsford, Ontario, Canada; and a sister, Wanda Kay Searcy of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Daniel Henderson, Joseph Henderson, Matthew Hill, John Darnell, Rick Smith and Rad Smith.
