A graveside service for Ruby V. Taylor, 72, of Eva was Friday, Oct. 20, at 3 p.m. at Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Gable officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Taylor died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1934, in Morgan County to Elbert Cleveland Brown and Viola Barbara Harris Brown. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James D. Taylor of Eva; five sons, Ronny W. Taylor and Darrell D. Taylor, both of Vinemont, Phillip W. Taylor and wife Claudette and Douglas A. Taylor, all of Eva, and Hilton K. Taylor of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Stephanie T. Hudson, Jill Payne, James W. Taylor and Christie Smith; and two great-granddaughters, McKenna Hudson and Mallory Hudson.
Pallbearers were James W. Taylor, Dustin Payne, Scott Hudson, Derrick White, Brandon Livingston and Bo Smith.
