William Lee ‘Speedy’ Sanford

Funeral for William Lee “Speedy” Sanford, 74, of Danville was Wedneday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Dewitt Crowe and Ralph Henderson officiating.
Burial was in the Sanford Family Cemetery.
Mr. Sanford died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, at his residence. He was a member of the Southwest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by three brothers; three sisters; and a granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Peggy Cooper Sanford of Danville; two sons, John Sanford and wife Teri and Stan Sanford and wife Deana, all of Danville; two daughters, Beverly Morris of Danville and Brenda Roberson and husband Bobby of Hartselle; two brothers, Buford Sanford and Melvin Sanford, both of Somerville; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons.
