Independent rapper Rodney Robinson, who is known in the music industry as Prince EQ, is currently living in Hartselle and recording new music.
He recently inked two deals with a music publisher and recording company headquartered in South Africa. The foreign sub-publishing agreement allows the rapper’s songs to be marketed and promoted throughout Europe and abroad to radio stations, TV stations and other avenues of exposure to music lovers. A digital distribution agreement gives him access to major online retailers such as Itunes, MSN Music, Yahoo Music and others. Podcast and some radio promotions are also under way in Berlin, Germany and Vienna, Austria.
The name of the new Prince EQ single is “Wiggle Dat Dat.” It was recorded at a studio in Decatur.
