Zula Widner King

Funeral for Zula Widner King, 84, of Hartselle was Sunday, Oct. 29, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mrs. King died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006, at her residence. She was born July 27, 1922, in Morgan County to Thomas (Tom) Cleveland Widner and Bessie Blankenship Widner. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hartselle and had been a resident of Sierra Springs Retirement Assisted Living Community for the past four years. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hughes.
She is survived by a son, Archie King of Jackson, Miss.; two daughters, Kay Channell of Decatur and Gail Graham of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Billie Tyler of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Hartselle or Hospice of the Valley.
