Flu, pneumonia vaccines offered

A flu and pneumonia shot clinic will be held Nov. 15 at the Hartselle Civic Center from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The shots will be offered free to qualified Medicare beneficiaries. Beneficiaries should bring their Medicare card, reflecting enrollment in Medicare Part B, and identification.
The shot clinic is provided by Wood Clinical Services in partnership with the North Central Alabama Regional Council of Governments and the Alabama Department of Senior Services. Non-Medicare fees are $25 for the flu vaccine and $35 for the pneumonia vaccine.
