Peggy Livingston Blackwood

A memorial graveside service for Peggy Livingston Blackwood, 76, of Hartselle was Sunday, Nov. 5, at 3:30 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur with the Rev. Harold Atchley officiating and Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Blackwood died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born Dec. 30, 1929, in Morgan County to Charles Earnest Livingston and Stella Hancock Livingston. She was a member of Point Mallard Parkway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Homer Blackwood.
She is survived by three sons, James H. Blackwood and wife Debbie and Edward J. Blackwood, all of Decatur and Donald R. Blackwood and wife Debbie of Somerville; a daughter, Wanda Blackwood Dotson of Decatur; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
