Funeral for Martha Jo Cryer Holmes, 57, of Somerville was Sunday, Nov. 12, at 2 p.m. at Cotaco United Methodist Church with Bro. David Weaver officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Red Oak Cemetery.
Mrs. Holmes died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2006, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born July 31, 1949, in Morgan County to Hubert Garland Cryer and Josephine O. Cryer. She was a lifetime member and organist of Cotaco United Methodist Church .She is survived by her husband, Dennis N. Holmes of Somerville; a son, Dennis N. Holmes, II of Decatur; a daughter, Cindy Jo Holmes of Decatur; her mother, Josephine O. Cryer of Somerville; a sister, Melissa Cryer Pitman of Somerville; and two granddaughters, Madison Jo Mashburn and Jaqueline Ozelle Holmes.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
