The regular bi-monthly meeting of the Priceville Town Council was held on Thursday, Oct. 26, at the Priceville Municipal Building.

Mayor Melvin Duran called the meeting to order at 7 p.m.
Linda Duran, Deputy Clerk gave the roll call with the following members absent: Councilman Tim Crow and Councilman Wayne Dunkin.
Charlie Brown, Pastor of Priceville United Methodist Church gave the invocation.
Councilman John Oakley made the motion to approve the work session minutes of Thursday, Oct. 12 as presented. Councilman Tommy Perry seconded the motion. The motion carried with a unanimous roll call vote of the following: Councilman Sam Heflin-yes, Councilman John Oakley-yes, Councilman Tommy Perry-yes, and Mayor Melvin Duran-yes.
Councilman Sam Heflin made the motion to approve the previous minutes of Thursday, Oct. 12 as printed. Councilman John Oakley seconded the motion. The motion carried with a unanimous roll call vote of the following: Councilman Sam Heflin-yes, Councilman John Oakley-yes, Councilman Tommy Perry-yes, and Mayor Melvin Duran-yes.

Councilman Tommy Perry made the motion to approve lodging and other travel expense for Mayor Melvin Duran to attend the Alabama League Committees in Montgomery, Alabama Nov. 9, 2006. Councilman Sam Heflin seconded the motion. The Priceville High School Robotics Team gave a presentation to the Town Council. Councilman Tommy Perry made the motion to approve $2,001 for the lodging expense for the Priceville High School Robotics Team to attend the South’s BEST Competition in Auburn Dec. 8-9, 2006. Councilman Sam Heflin seconded the motion. The motion carried with a unanimous roll call vote of the following: Councilman Sam Heflin-yes, Councilman John Oakley-yes, Councilman Tommy Perry-yes, and Mayor Melvin Duran-yes.
Councilman John Oakley made the motion to approve $21.20 per month raise for Judge Tilden Dillard. Councilman Tommy Perry seconded the motion.
