Barnett earns Life Cycle award

Amelia Fitzgerald Barnett, a 1967 of Falkville High School, was recently honored with the Army Life Cycle Logistician of the Year.
Barnett has worked for the Army for 37 years and is currently the senior logistician at Redstone Arsenal, working for Brigadier General Mike Cannon, the program executive officer for missiles and space.
She and her husband, George, an attorney, live near Union Grove.
Barnett’s award was presented in Arlington, Va. at the annual awards ceremony of the Army Acquisition Corps.
