Herbert A. ‘Bud’ McAbee

A graveside service for Herbert A. “Bud” McAbee, 57, of Falkville was Friday, Nov. 24, at 4 p.m. at Round Top Cemetery with the Rev. Milan Dekich officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. McAbee died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at his residence. He was born March 16, 1949, in Morgan County to David Alford McAbee and Lillie Lazelle Shoemaker McAbee.
He attended Fairview Church of God most of his life. He served in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard for 20 years. He was employed by K-Mart before being employed by General Electric on Sept. 4, 1984. He is survived by a sister, Diane Quattlebaum of Hartselle; a niece; and a nephew.
