Funeral for Tom Simmons, 65, of Falkville was Saturday, Nov. 25, at noon at Pine Street Baptist Church in Falkville with the Rev. Roger Ammons officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Simmons died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Feb. 9, 1941, in Lawrence County to Edwin J. Simmons and Minnie Pearl Sparks Simmons.
He is survived by three sons, Wayne Simmons of Falkville, Jeff Waddell of Trinity and Robert Simmons of Decatur; a daughter, Emelina Watkins of Trinity; a brother, Ray Simmons of Hartselle; a stepbrother, Odis Couch of Hartselle; two sisters, Lottie McCormich of Decatur; a stepsister, Susie Gilley of Cullman; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ray Watkins, Jr., Benny Hardy, Daniel Hardy, Mitchell Simmons, Bobby Simmons and Tim Simmons.
