Funeral for Velma Lee Sanderson Reeves, 69, of Decatur was Saturday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Garrison officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Reeves died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born Jan. 24, 1937, in Lawrence Co. to Leon Sanderson and Susie Parker Sanderson. She was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Kilpatric and a brother, Claudie Sanderson..
She is survived by three sons, Tim Kilpatric of Trinity, Johnny Kilpatric and wife Debbie of Hartselle and Ronnie Kilpatric of Decatur; two daughters, Bonnie Reeves and husband Elbert of Trinity and Bobbie Fristoe of Alpine, Tex.; three sisters, Shirley Brewer, Marie Brewer and Eula Mae Parker, all of Moulton; 16 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were her grandsons.
