Kopnicky, Booker exchange vows
Kelly Jo Kopnicky of Hokes Bluff and Eric Levin Booker of Soddy Daisy, Tenn. were wed Aug. 5, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Hokes Bluff.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Michael Kopnicky of Hokes Bluff and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reaford Williams of Hartselle.
The groom is the son of Janice Bailey Booker of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.
Rev. Eric House officiated the ceremony.
The altar was decorated with wrought iron baskets and archways covered with ivy and flanked by large lavender rose arrangements in tall silver vases.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a gown by Jasmine of white satin and organza with a head piece of seed pearls and Swarovski crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.
Rachel Ford Jackson of Pell City was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Jamie Wilson Godby, cousin of the bride, of Alpharetta, Ga., Michelle Faith Meek of Chattanooga, Tenn., Carrie Ann Inzina of Mobile, Traci Lyn Gunter of Birmingham and Lora Inman Causey of Hokes Bluff.
The attendants wore black georgette spaghetti strap tea length dresses. They carried lavender roses with purple stalk.
Flower girl was Layla Gabrielle Booker, niece of the groom, of Spring City, Tenn. Ring bearer was Ethan Richards Roger of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.
Best man was Hugh Curtis Blair V of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.
Groomsmen were Matthew Dale Beach, Micah Rees Gravitt and Jeremy Heath Rogers, all of Soddy Daisy, Tenn., Ernest Lee Booker III, brother of the groom, of Spring City, Tenn., and James Edward Seals Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn. Scripture reading was provided by Eric Johnson.
Music was provided by vocalists Tricia Noah, Haley Arrington and Marius Marin. Organist was Melody Osborne. Guitarist was Mitchelle Foster.
A reception followed the wedding in the church’s fellowship hall.
The bride’s table featured a three-tiered white cake with the bride’s initials on the top layer and lavender roses between each tier.
The groom’s table featured multiple cheesecakes with fruit toppings.
The wedding was directed by Maggie Griffith. Wedding hostesses were Anne Barbieri, Suzanne Prager and Kristine Brangwin, all of Chattanooga, Tenn.
Reception hostesses were Jackie Hill and Debra Willard, both of Hokes Bluff, Janessa Booker of Orlando, Fla., and Larunda Jordan and Madison Jordan, both of Anniston.
The couple is residing in Chattanooga, Tenn.
A rehearsal dinner was held the night before the wedding at the Hokes Bluff Community Center given by the Booker family.

Jones, Eaton to wed
Jana Jones of Hartselle announces the engagement of her daughter, Tiffany Anne Jones, to William Thomas Eaton Jr. of Hartselle, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Eaton of Somerville and Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Winton III of Hartselle.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Darren Jones and the step-daughter of Joe Arias of Hartselle. She is the granddaughter of Max and Sharon Jones of Somerville, Jan and Mary Jo Wilbourne of Lacey’s Spring, Doug and Anne Gulock of Hartselle and the late Charlie James.
She is a graduate of Hartselle High School and is studying cosmetology at Calhoun Community College.
She is employed with Pokkadots in Decatur.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Dick and Loretta Erickson of San Clemente, Ca., Linda Larson of North Hollywood, Calif., and the late Tommy and Dovie Eaton. A graduate of Hartselle High School, he attended Calhoun Community College. He graduated from the Police Academy in Tuscaloosa and Fire Academy in Huntsville. He is employed with the Department of Public Safety at Huntsville International Airport.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 2, 2006 at 5 p.m. at East Highland Baptist Church.
Turney, Mills to wed Dec. 8
Howard and Martha Turney of Falkville announce the engagement of their daughter, Cathy Ann Turney, to James Earl Mills Jr., of Falkville, son of Dorothy Barnett of Hartselle and the late James Earl Mills Sr.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Falkville High School. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and an associate’s degree in diagnosic imaging from Wallace State Community College.
The groom-elect attended Danville High School.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 8, 2006 at Faith Independent Church in Falkville.
