Calvin Poole

Funeral for Calvin Poole, 81, of Decatur was Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jack Bailey officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery, south of Danville.
Mr. Poole died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born November 8, 1925, in Lawrence County to Tom Jackson Poole and Annie Garnett Poole. He was retired as an auto body mechanic at Luther Holmes Auto Body Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Douglas Poole.
He is survived by a son, Allen Poole and wife Debra of South Carolina; three daughters, Joyce Coffey of Decatur, Patsy Springer of Atlanta, Ga. and Phyllis Walden and husband Cecil of Macon, Ga.; a sister, Lorene Wilbanks of Hartselle; and 10 grandchildren.
Family members and friends were pallbearers.
