Funeral for Esther Higdon Phillips, 82, of Falkville was Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joe Hoover officiating.
Burial was in Lebanon Cemetery.
Mrs. Phillips died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born August 16, 1924, in Lawrence County to F.D. Everett Higdon and Sina Bishop Higdon. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.B. Phillips.
She is survived by a brother, Cleo Higdon and wife Shelby of Decatur; six nephews; and four nieces.
Nephews were pallbearers.
