Funeral for Evelyn Christine Stinson Luker, 82, of Lacey’s Spring was Sunday, Dec, 24, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Walter Blackmon and Robert Weaver officiating.
Burial was in Red Oak Cemetery at Cotaco.
Mrs. Luker died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center.
She was born June 18, 1924, in Morgan County to Emmitt Haywood Stinson and Dora Elizabeth Helms Stinson. She was a Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, William Alton Luker of Lacey’s Spring; two daughters, Betty Drinkard of Hartselle and Jo Clifton of Decatur; three granddaughters, Michelle Drinkard Weaver of Vandalia, Ill., Kristie Drinkard Smith of Sevierville, Tenn. and Melody Clifton Lillich of Decatur; a grandson, Jonathan Paul Clifton of Decatur; and six great-grandchildren.
Family members were pallbearers.
