Willie Pearl ‘Nancy’ Owen McCutcheon

Funeral for Willie Pearl “Nancy” Owen McCutcheon, 85, of Cotaco was Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harlon Hood officiating.
Burial was in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. McCutcheon died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at her residence. She was born April 12, 1921, to John Wesley Owen and Ada Slaten Owen as the youngest of five children. She was a former employee of the Morgan County School System at Cotaco and worked for 16 years at The Decatur Daily.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Benson McCutcheon.
She is survived by two sons, John Dale McCutcheon and Dennis Boyce McCutcheon, both of Cotaco; two daughters, Wilma Jean Turney of Cotaco and Margaret Ann Wright of Memphis, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Steve Turney, Justin McCutcheon, Wesley McCutcheon, Wade McCutcheon, Harold Fowler and Gerald Day.
