Funeral for Cynthia Candace Parker, 89, of Eva was Saturday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steven Smith officiating.
Burial was in Lawrence Cove Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born June 5, 1917, in Marion County to John Harvey Williams and Manervia Emily Cantrell Williams. She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Raye Cox; two brothers, Harvey W. Williams and Harley Williams; and three sisters, Rachel Roberson, Mary Ann Yielding and Maudie Burnett.
She is survived by her husband, Lutie Parker of Eva; a son, Dewayne Parker of Decatur; four daughters, Sarah Emily Crawford of Holt, Jo Ann Engle of Texas City, Tex., Debra Louise Niles and Karen Jane Cox, both of Eva; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
