Funeral for Liland L. McKee, 72, of Joppa was Friday, Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. at Rock Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Eldridge Criscoe officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. McKee died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born Aug. 9, 1934, in Morgan County to Auburn Leo McKee and Carrie Irene Puckett McKee. He is survived by his wife, Imogene McKee of Joppa; a daughter, Charlotte Childers of Eva; four stepsons, Chris Flack and Anthony Flack, both of Joppa, Ellis Flack of Nebraska and Greg Flack of Wisconsin; two stepdaughters, Renee Welch and Debbie Bearden, both of Joppa; a brother, Darrell McKee of Decatur; two sisters, Linda Lovelady and Vila Farley, both of Texas; 12 grandchildren; and 10 stepgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
