Theodore ‘Ted’ Chambers Hartselle

Funeral for Theodore “Ted” Chambers Hartselle, 75, of Rockledge, Fla. was Friday, Dec, 29, at 11 a.m. art St, Mary’s Catholic Church in Rockledge with Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rockledge.
Mr. Hartselle was a native of Hartselle who moved to Bevard Counhty, Fla. in 1962. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a financial consultant who worked for American General AIG, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kiwanis Club, Elks Club #1532, American Legion Post #2 and VFW Post #4534. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved get-togethers. He enjoyed gardening and always had a project devoted to his city, county and especially his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mahlon and Nellie Kate Hartselle, and two sisters, Amilia Earhart Crawford and Linda Gail Fowler. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia Rasinwich Hartselle of Rockledge; five sons, Ted J. Hartselle and Patrick Hartselle and wife Lesley, all of Rockledge, Michael Hartselle and wife Josie of Jacksonville, Fla., Tim Hartselle and wife Mindy of West Melbourne, Fla. and Todd Hartselle of Saxapahaw, N.C.; two daughters, Laurie Chapman and husband John of Southside, Ala. and Becky Hartselle and husband Bob of Rockledge; 14 grandchildren, Craig Hartselle and Chris Hartselle and wife Lynn of Rockledge, Melissa Chapman of Alabama, Frank Webster of Lakeland, Fla., Danny, Lisa and Mike Hartselle Jr., all of Jacksonville, Fla., Whitney, Timothy, Miranda, Thomas and Rebekah Hartselle, all of West Melbourne, Fla. and Stephen and Amber Hartselle of Rockledge; a brother, Mahlon Hartselle of Trinity, Fla.; two sisters, Virginia Hatfield of Springfield, Ga. and Martha Hartselle of Birmingham; and a number of nephews, nieces and cousins.
