Funeral for William Perry Howse, 85, of Hartselle was Tuesday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Howse died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at his residence. He was born October 30, 1921, in Morgan County to Charles Edward Howse and Gladys Patterson Howse. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Hartselle Church of Christ and was retired from Wolverine Tube where he worked in the shipping department. He was preceded in death by his wife, Venera Hardin Howse.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lancaster Howse of Hartselle; two sons, Charles M. Howse and William P. Howse Jr., both of Hartselle; a daughter, Pamela Boles Ethridge of Moorestown, N.J.; a sister, Martha E. Bickham of West Point; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Lancaster, David Lancaster, Perry Griffin, Rickey Hardin, Bennie Holmes and Gordon Hollingsworth.
The family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of the Valley.
