Funeral for Grady J. Garrison, 73, of Falkville was Monday, Jan. 8, at 1 p.m. at Corinth Methodist Church with Bro. Rodger Aldridge officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Garrison died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born May 9, 1933, in Lawrence County to John Frankie Garrison and Rommie Ellen South Garrison. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Hilda Marie Whitworth.
He is survived by three sons, James Earl Garrison and Billy Don Garrison, both of Falkville, and Adam Lee Garrison of Moulton; a daughter, Rita Sheree Ballinger of Speake; a brother, John Franklin Garrison Jr. of Huntsville; a sister, Mildred Louise Speegle of Falkville; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bubba Whitworth, J.C. Whitworth, Luke Speegle, Josh Speegle, Jason Speegle, Shawn Ballinger and Holland Whitworth.
