Funeral for Louie Eldon Morris, 79, of Hartselle was Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Campbell officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Morris died Monday, January 15, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born May 19, 1927, in Morgan County to Willis Earl Morris Sr. and Mary Allie Harvell Morris. He was a veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Morris of Hartselle; a son, Ronald Morris and wife Connie of Hartselle; a daughter, Patsie M. McCleskey and husband Harvey; a brother, Rayburn Benson Morris of Hartselle; a sister, Mary Helen Morris of Hartselle; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lee Gray, Harvey McCleskey, Rassie Wallace, Allen Vest, Bobby Long and Louis Depreast.
