Site plan approved for new Taco Bell
By Staff
Hartselle Planning Commission approved a site plan for a new Taco Bell at its last regular meeting.
Plans calls for the removal of the fast food restaurant’s existing building in the Morgan Plaza Shopping Center and its replacement with a newly designed structure.
The planning body also supported a city-initiated request for the rezoning of property lying west of Mountain View Road. It is currently zoned for industrial use. The proposed change calls for a portion of it to be rezoned R-1 for single family residential use and the remainder R-3 for multiple family residential use. The proposal was submitted to the City Council with a recommendation for approval and will be subject to a public hearing on Jan 23.
