Brewer's Rusty Boyd hit two free throws with five seconds left to ice the game for the Patriots at home against their county rival Jan. 16.
Initially, it didn't look like it would be that close. The Patriots opened the game on a tear, leading 11-0 after the first quarter and 19-8 at halftime. Priceville did not get on the scoreboard until Will Stevens hit 1-of-2 free throws with 7:26 left in the second quarter.

With less than a minute remaining, Priceville's Josh Bedwell hit a three-pointer and was fouled on the play, cutting Brewer's lead to 40-39 before stepping to the free-throw line with a chance to tie. Bedwell missed the foul shot and Boyd grabbed the rebound.
Brewer's Kohl Sowder hit a lay-up with 12 seconds left to give the Patriots a three-point lead. Priceville missed a three-pointer on the other end; Brewer recovered the rebound and Boyd was fouled and went to the line to hit the key free throws.
