Wear Red for Women Day set for Feb. 2

Hartselle Medical Center is joining in National Wear Red Day. Events are planned for Feb. 2 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. as part of the national Go Red for Women program of the National Heart Association. HMC, Morgan County Extension Service and the HMC physicians are teaming up to provide free blood pressure checks, heart healthy desserts, a tour of the hospital’s cardiac rehabilitation lab, door prizes and performances by the Senior Circle High Steppers.
The Go Red for Women campaign is a movement across the nation to raise awareness about women and cardiovascular disease.
