Funeral for Willie A. Tittsworth, 91, of Hartselle was Saturday, Jan. 20, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jerry Irwin, John McPeek, Paul Tucker and Jimmy D. Tittsworth officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Tittsworth died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1915, in Tennessee to Zollie Lee Tittsworth and Ella Belle Cantrell Tittsworth. He attended Pattillo Street Church of God, was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion, DAV and VFW. He was preceded in death by his wife, Malinda P. Lorance Tittsworth.
He is survived by two sons, William Jan Tittsworth and wife Sue of Taylor and Jimmy David Tittsworth and wife Tiffany of Clarksburg, Md.; a daughter, Dorothy Miller and husband Jimmy of Decatur; a brother, Everett Tittsworth of McMinnville, Tenn.; a sister, Mae Riner of Lawrenceville, Ga.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Robbins, Jimmy Robbins, Miron Paul Tittsworth, Wayne Tittsworth, Jesse Tittsworth and Jeffrey Tittsworth.
