Leada Gore, Hartselle Enquirer
A Hartselle man was found guilty this week in connection with an indecency sting last year at Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge.
A Decatur jury deliberated 35 minutes before finding Walter E. Brannan, 48, of Hartselle guilty on one count of public lewdness and one count of indecent exposure.
Brannan faces up to one year in prison. The sentencing date has not been set. Brannan is currently free on bond.
Brannan was one of 27 people cited in September of last year for alleged indecent acts at the wildlife refuge.
