Funeral for Lois Gretchen Wallace, 93, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), Feb. 15, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to service.
Mrs. Wallace died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born August 16, 1913, in Morgan County to Louis Sandlin and Lillian Roberts Sandlin. She was a member of Forrest Chapel Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pervin Wallace; six brothers, Eugene Sandlin, L.J. Sandlin, Joe Sandlin, Wilson Sandlin, Bill Sandlin and Raymond Sandlin; and three sisters, Emma James, Hytha Long and Ruth Taylor.
She is survived by a son, Tommy Wallace and wife Joyce of Hartselle; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David James, Raymond Sandlin, Eual James, Chris Sandlin, Darrel Sandlin and Dawson Long.
