Junior Doyal ‘Brother’ Moses

Funeral for Junior Doyle ‘Brother’ Moses, 80, of Decatur was Friday, Feb. 16, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Berry and Micky Hammon officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery in Somerville.
Mr. Moses died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born November 28, 1926, in Morgan County to Robert Lee Moses and Lena Josa Brady Moses. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Raymond, Earl and Jake Moses and three sisters, Reathie Higdon, Dovie Higdon and Leota Eubanks.
He is survived by a brother, Easton Moses of Decatur; and two sisters, Bonnie Moses Thompson and Gladys Moses Prater, both of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Sodie “Harold Glen” Moses, Keith Barber, Joe Edwards, Carey Frasier, Micky Hammon and Larry Claborn.
Honorary pallbearers were Keith Eubanks and Ashley Holland.
