Two charged following car stop

The investigation into a report of a suspicious car in Lacey’s Spring led to two arrests last week.
On Feb. 19, deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle at the old fish market on Old River Road in Lacey’s Spring. Patrol deputies found Steve Martin, 51, of Arab and Kimberly Hargrave, 34, in the car. A search of the car led to the discovery of five grams of methamphetamine and numerous types of drug paraphernalia.
Hargrave also had outstanding warrants from the Arab Police Department. She was later charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession and placed under a $300 bond.
Martin was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed under a $50,300 bond,
Martin was currently awaiting trial in Cullman County on manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine charges.
