John Patrick Henry ‘Pat’ Harvel

A graveside service for John Patrick Henry “Pat” Harvel, 47, of Houston, Tex., formerly of Hartselle, was Saturday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Dewitt Crowe officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Harvel died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, in Houston. He had been employed with Continental Air Lines. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Warren Harvel Sr. and a brother, Jerry Wayne “Buck” Harvel.
He is survived by his mother, Mae Harvel of Hartselle; two brothers, Paul W. Harvel Jr. and Royce V. “Buzzy” Harvel, both of Hartselle; and three sisters, Lynda Benfield of Madison, Judy Williams of Hartselle and Martie Maddox of New Braunfel, Tex.
Pallbearers were Paul W. Harvel Jr., Royce V. “Buzzy” Harvel, Bob Maddox, Jim Benfield, Todd Benfield and Eddie Livingston.
