Park and rec has full slate of spring activities

Hartselle Park and Recreation has an active spring planned.
Youth dances for grades 6-9 will be March 30, April 21 and May 18 from 7-11 p.m. each night. Admission is $5. Parents must come inside to pick up their children from the dance and children are not allowed outside without adult supervision.
Chaperones are always needed for the dances.
The semi-annual rummage sale will be April 20 from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. and April 21 from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Anyone wishing to sell their unwanted treasures should register no later than April 17.
Seller’s fee is $20 per space and there must be at least 10 sellers to have the event.
The 4-H Regional Roundup, a competitive event that allows the top prize winners to go on to state competitions, will be May 5 starting at 9 a.m. The award ceremony will be at 1:30 p.m. Contact the 4-H Office at 773-2549 for more information.
The Hartselle Junior High School Spring Chorus Concert will be at the Civic Center May 10 starting at 7 p.m. The High School Chorus Concert will be May 14 at 7 p.m.
The Kiwanis Club Easter Egg Hunt in Sparkman Park is April 7 starting at 10 a.m. The event is divided into the following ages: 0-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-10.
Hartselle pool is scheduled to open May 26. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 1-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.; Sunday, 1-6 p.m. Afternoon admission rtes are $4.50 for ages six and older and $3 for ages five and younger. Evening rates are $3 and $1.50, respectively.
Season passes are available for $65. Passes for a family of four are $175. Additional members may purchase a pass for $35.
The Hartselle Park and Recreation Summer Schedule will be available May 14.
