Funeral for Sandra Shelnutt Yeager, 53, of Hartselle was Saturday, Mar. 31, at 1 p.m. at New Center Baptist Church with the Revs. Harold Brown and Curtis Taylor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Yeager died Thursday, Mar. 29, 2007, at her residence. She loved antiquing, garage sales and shoe shopping and the loves of her life were her son and his family and her husband. She also considered her three dogs, Blackjack, Gypsy and Augie, as her children. She previously was a hairdresser and most recently a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Charley V. Yeager of Hartselle; a son, Chris Tanner and wife Deonza of Falkville; her mother, Mary Lou Miller of Russellville; a stepfather, Talton Ray Miller of Russellville; three sisters, Carolyn Parker of Phil Campbell, Wanda Miller of Russellville and Annette Davidson of Madison; a two grandchildren, Zach and Brittany Tanner.
Pallbearers were Larry McCurry, Steven Parker, Rob Easterling, Larry Tanner, Rickey Marchman and Jason Easterling.
