Worthless check roundup planned

The deadline for Morgan County’s worthless check roundup has been extended to April 9, according to District Attorney Bob Burrell.
Burrell said the change is due to the county’s observance of Good Friday.
All people with warrants for the charge of issuing a worthless negotiable instrument and failure to pay court-ordered money are encouraged to contact the Morgan County Worthless Check and Recovery Unit and make arrangements to pay or turn themselves in. Failure to do so by the close of business on April 9 will result in arrest.
