Funeral for Jeanne Blair Hardwick, 83, of Decatur was Wednesday, April 11, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Roger Jenkins officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle City Cemetery.
Mrs. Hardwick died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur, a graduate of Auburn University, a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and a longstanding member of the Decatur Tennis Association. She was the widow of Macon N. Hardwick and the sister of the late Sara Ramey.
She is survived by two daughters, Jan Hardwick Becktel of Santa Rosa, Fla. and Susan Blair Hardwick of Decatur; two sisters, Aline Lary of Huntsville and Elizabeth Roberts of Hartselle; four grandchildren, Blair Parks Ritchie, Drew Parks, Mac Taylor and Sam Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Coe Taylor and Cam Taylor.
Pallbearers were Bentley Wilder, Brent Burnthall, Stan Evans, Preston Hurst, Don Tapscott and Travis Hardwick.
