Funeral for Jo “Miss Jo” Armstrong, 62, of Hartselle was Tuesday, April 10, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Sparks and David Gamble officiating
Burial was in Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mrs. Armstrong died Saturday, April 7, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born April 26, 1944, in Marshall County to James Eddie Eason and Lois Sharleene Edmondson Eason. She taught pre-school children at Bethel Baptist School in Hartselle for 27 years and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Edward “Ed” Armstrong of Hartselle; a son, Jason Armstrong of Hartselle; a daughter, Anita Nave of Hartselle; a brother, Ken Eason of Joppa; two sisters, Janice Tucker of Good Hope and Sherry Kilgo of Joppa; three grandchildren, John Mark Nave Jr. and Kristi Jackson, both of Decatur, and Susanna Nave of Hartselle; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Nave, Tyler Nave, Aubrie Jackson and Gage Jackson, all of Decatur.
Pallbearers were John Nave, David Chappell, Kris Chappell, Josh Eason, Patrick Eason and Daniel Kilgo.
