Red Cross kicks off annual Heroes campaign

The 2007 Heroes for American Red Cross Campaign officially kicked off last week, when “heroes” from Morgan and Lawrence counties were recognized at a breakfast at the Morgan-Lawrence County Chapter Office in Decatur. During the first three weeks of April, 32 heroes from our community will be attempting to raise $1000 each by selling Red Cross squares, contacting friends, neighbors and business acquaintances, and holding various fundraisers.
Heroes Planning Committee members Charlie Reid, Bettye English, Martha King, Mary Ann Mulhern, Ali Propst, Elaine Maxey, Julian Price III and Barbara Inscho have recruited the following Campaign Sponsors and Heroes:
