Funeral for Wynell Stephens Nelson, 81, of Hartselle will be Thursday, April 19, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bruce Ellard officiating.
Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Cullman County.
Mrs. Nelson died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at her residence. She was born March 18, 1926, in Blount County to George Washington Stephens and Roxie Chambers Stephens.
She was a member of West Hartselle Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Coy Nelson.
She is survived by a son, Tim Nelson and wife Karen of Hartselle; a daughter, Rhonda Nelson Palmer and husband Todd of Hartselle; two brothers, Arlin Stephens of Oneonta and Ralph Stephens of Holly Pond; a sister, Genett Holmes of Rainbow City; two grandsons, Jonathon Nelson and David Nelson, both of Hartselle; and a step-grandson, Jordan Palmer of Hazel Green.
Pallbearers were Shon Frachiseur, Steve Frachiseur, Gary Stephens, Phillip Stephens, Frank Harville and Randy Nelson.
