Moore, Lindsey to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Herman T. Moore Jr. of Decatur and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Caracappa of Destin, Fla. announce the engagement of their daughter, Allison Brooke Moore of Decatur to Justin Blake Lindsey of Hartselle, son of Kathy Lindsey and Mr. and Mrs. Dexter Lindsey, all of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Hazel Moore of Decatur, the late Herman T. Moore of Decatur, and the late Lucille Wilson of Tanner.
A 1998 graduate of Decatur High School, she received a bachelor’s degree in zoology from Auburn University in 2001. She received her master’s degree in biological science in 2006 from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Demetrius and Dora Lindsey of Eva and the late J.B. and Margie Warren of Hartselle.
A 1997 graduate of Hartselle High School, he received his bachelor’s degree in environmental science in 2001 from Auburn University.
The wedding is planned for June 9 at 6 p.m. in Destin, Fla.
Amick, Rabb to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Amick of Clay announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Michelle Amick, to William Earl Kelly Rabb III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rabb Jr. of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Buford Miller of Eastaboga and the late Rebecca Miller, Mildred Amick of Birmingham and the late Hollis Amick. A 2002 graduate of Clay-Chalkville High School, she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Auburn University in 2006. She is employed with Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Rabb Sr. of Hoover and Mr. and Mrs. George Nancarrow of Decatur.
A 2001 graduate of Hartselle High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Alabama, he is employed as a math teacher at Hewitt-Trussville High School. He is a second lieutenant in the 115th Signal Battalion.
The wedding is planned for May 4 at 7 p.m. at the Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom in Springville.
Wallace, Barnes to wed
David and Lara Wallace of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Nicole Wallace to Justin Lucas Barnes of Madison, son of Larry and Judy Barnes of Demopolis.
The future bride is the granddaughter of James Glasscock Sr. and the late Helen Hamilton Glasscock of Cullman, Eileen Money of Huntsville and Wayne and Billie Ann Wallace of Northport.
A 2003 graduate of Hartselle High School, she will graduate in May from Auburn University with a degree in elementary education.
She is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Social Fraternity, Kappa Delta Phi International Honor Society, 2005 Panhellenic Counselor, Project Uplift (Big Brother / Big Sister Organization), small group leader and Grace Campus Ministry.
The future groom is the grandson of Lawrence and Joyce Barnes of Demopolis, Mary Ballard and the late James Ballard of Demopolis.
A 1999 graduate of Demopolis High School, he graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2005 with a degree in marketing and sales. He was a member of the UAH Baseball team and played two years of minor league baseball with the Detroit Tiger Organization. He is employed by Forest Pharmaceutical Company.
The wedding is planned for May 19 at First United Methodist Church in Hartselle.
Wren, Mosteller to wed
Eddie and Linda Wren of Hartselle announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Beth, to Christopher Jarrod Mosteller, son of Jimmy and Kay Mosteller of Hartselle.
The future bride is the granddaughter of Neal and Estalee Page and the late Willie Dee and Inez Wren of Red Bay. A graduate of Hartselle High School, she attended the University of North Alabama and graduated with a bachelors of business administration in management from Athens State. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha at UNA.
The future groom is the grandson of Martha Black of Cullman and the late Otis Black and the late Billy and Imogene Mosteller of Eva. A graduate of Hartselle High School, he attended Auburn University. He received a bachelor of science degree in human resources management from Athens State.
The wedding is planned for May 26 at Hartselle First United Methodist Church.
