Lavaun M. Townsend, 89, of Hartselle died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Hartselle Medical Center after an extended illness.
Peck Funeral home is handling arrangements. No viewing or funeral service is planned. A family memorial service will be held at a later date. She was preceded in death by her husband, Flint Townsend and a sister, Joyce McClung Petersen of Colorado Springs, Colo.
She is survived by a daughter, Cherry Morris and husband Bobby of Hartselle; a grandson, Jasen Reagin and wife Sherry; a granddaughter, Julie Reagin; and two great-grandsons, Cole and Lane Reagin, all of Hartselle.
