Funeral for Bob Vaughn, 73, of Danville was Wednesday, May 2, at 11 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Francis Proctor and M.V. Shelton officiating.
Burial was in Friendship Cemetery south of Danville.
Mr. Vaughn died Monday, April 30, 2007, at Hartselle Medical Center.
He was born March 2, 1934, in Jefferson County to Dennis Vaughn and Pearl Roberson Vaughn.
He attended Speake Christian Fellowship Church.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carole Vaughn of Danville; a daughter, Kristi Gardner and husband Rickie of Danville; two grandchildren, Maggie Gardner and Lila Gardner, both of Danville; three nephews, Wade England, Kip England and Duff England, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Floyd and Linda England of Meansville, Ga.; special friends, Herman Weaver, Harold Jenkins, Carl Estes, Phillip Smith and Dr. Allan Wilensky, his doctor and friend for more than 30 years.
Pallbearers were Herman Weaver, Wade England, Kip England, Duff England, Rickie Gardner, Stephen Bonner and Phillip McCary.
